at the research group “Molecular and Cellular Radiobiology” at OncoRay

 

This in full time Position is limited to 24 months. The salary is according to the TV-L dispositions.

 

Tomorrow’s international research talents are being educated in the modular teaching program of the OncoRay Postgraduate School. OncoRay provides ideal working conditions for employees active in research from over 35 different countries. We are seeking for new members of our international team.

 

Resistance to therapy is common in glioblastoma. The aim of the current project is to test novel targeting strategies to overcome radiochemoresistance in glioblastoma mouse models.

In particular, this includes the following tasks are the extensive in vivo analyses on orthotopic glioblastoma models, the Work with primary glioblastoma cell models/glioblastoma organoids,Cell and molecular biology techniques and Bioinformatics on diverse omics data sets.

 

Your profile:

  • PhD degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Cancer Biology
  • Advanced experience with bioinformatics
  • Advanced experience in animal work
