Carus Akademie

The term "lifelong learning" is on everyone's mind. The University Hospital is acting accordingly and has merged the Medical Vocational School and the Continuing Education and Training Center to form the Carus Academy. This has paved the way structurally to be able to offer the qualification of trainees and the further development of employees from a single source.

As an education provider at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden, quality management is not only one of our numerous topics in training and further education. Customer satisfaction, error minimization and process optimization are also top priorities for us as the Carus Academy at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden. We have therefore established and implemented a structured quality management system in accordance with DIN ISO 9001:2015.

The full range of training courses is available not only to employees of the University Hospital, but also to interested colleagues from other hospitals/clinics and from outpatient and inpatient care.

The Carus Academy, as an internal training center at the university hospital, has a long tradition of training a wide range of healthcare professions. It therefore makes a significant contribution to staff development and retention at the hospital.
