The Professorship of Medical Systems Biology at the University Cancer Center (UCC/NCT) Dresden is one of the world-leading research groups in the field of therapeutic genome editing. On the one hand, we work on novel recombinase-based systems that enable precise and safe genomic modifications independently of endogenous repair mechanisms. Our work thus spans a broad spectrum of innovative technologies that are pioneering for both genetic diseases and translational oncology.
