What are areas with special nursing responsibilities?

This includes employees working as wound managers, vascular assistants, breast nurses/lactation specialists, assistants in cardiac catheterizations, dilatations or angiographies, angiology assistants, aphresis nurses, palliative care nurses, pain nurses, and paraplagiology nurses.

What is advanced training in nursing?

Advanced nursing training is a part-time, supplementary qualification for registered nurses (e.g., registered nurses, geriatric nurses, or nursing professionals). It serves to acquire specialized knowledge and skills for specific nursing specialties (e.g., operating room, intensive care, oncology, endoscopy, nephrology, emergency room, psychiatry, psychosomatics, etc.). The training typically lasts 1.5 to 2 years, includes theoretical instruction and practical placements, and concludes with a state-recognized examination.

Are there annual bonuses, one-off payments, or other allowances?

All employees of Dresden University Hospital receive fixed annual bonuses and performance-related one-off payments in accordance with the respective applicable collective bargaining agreements. Overtime pay is provided for special forms of work (e.g., public holidays/weekend work).

Which allowances apply to me?

The allowances depend on the specific assignments and are regulated in the company collective agreement for non-medical staff under §16 and vary between €45.00 and €90.00.
