Voluntary service is the ideal preparation for training or studying in the nursing or medical field. In addition to gaining experience in the areas of the University Hospital Dresden, we offer information events for career orientation to support you on your next steps into professional life.
What are the requirements for voluntary service?
Completion of compulsory schooling (9 years)
Between the ages of 16 and 25
Ability to work in a team and reliability
A sense of responsibility and punctuality
You are interested in working in a maximum care hospital

The minimum period of service is 6 months and the maximum 12 months.

Monthly remuneration of 580 euros (in the first 6 months) and 650 euros (from the 7th to the 12th month)
20 days of holiday per 12 months (for minors in accordance with JArbSchG)
25 seminar days
The BFD regularly begins on 1 September each year. However, we also offer the option of starting on the first of a different month.
